Job OverviewThe Personal Care Assistant provides clients with various personal care and homemaker/companion services in accordance with an established plan of care, ensuring they can live comfortably in their residences.
Key Responsibilities- Personal Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, ambulation, transfers, and safe use of equipment and assistive devices.
- Homemaking Activities: Handle meal planning, preparation, and feeding; provide companionship and respite services for family members; perform tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, and cleaning bathrooms.
We are seeking a dedicated individual who:
- Has a passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
- Is registered as a Health Care Aide in BC.
- Has access to reliable transportation.
- Speaks multiple languages (an asset).
- Possesses previous experience as a Health Care Aide in homes or facilities (a bonus).
