Job Description:

The Cannery Operator - Material Handler is responsible for performing various tasks that include checking and weighing materials, sorting and packaging products, assisting machine operators, and cleaning work areas. Your attention to detail, physical stamina, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check and weigh materials and products
  • Sort, pack, crate and package materials and products
  • Assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers
  • Perform other labouring and elemental activities
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
