Full Stack Software Engineer with Polaris II Expertise

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Full Stack Developer to join our POLARIS II Development Team at Teranet Inc. As a Senior Systems Analyst/Programmer, you will be responsible for the support, maintenance, enhancements and development of the POLARIS II application suite of programs and databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and improve existing software systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex software problems, identifying efficient solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features, fixes, and system enhancements.
  • Lead systems development, programming, and implementation activities, guiding project teams towards successful outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records.
  • Provide production support as needed, ensuring minimal disruptions to our services.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • No less than 8 years of experience in analyzing user requirements, systems analysis, systems design, and programming.
  • Hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery, Ajax, JSP, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, JBoss, AMQ, iText7, Ant, Maven, Jenkins Pipeline, EclipseLink, TopLink, LDAP, Oracle RDBMS and SQL, Jira, Git, Gerrit.
  • Excellent command of concepts, practices, and procedures of systems and implementation development life cycle.
  • Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Design and Programming, Relational Database Design, and Object-Relational Database Mapping.
  • Ability to develop and maintain SQL scripts and Shell scripts in UNIX environment.
  • Familiarity with Angular is an asset.
