About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Beauty Specialist to join our team at Smooth Touch Laser and Skincare Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality beauty treatments to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Custom Design Creation: Design and create custom beauty treatments for clients, taking into account their individual skin types and concerns.
  • Product Recommendations: Provide expert advice on beauty products and recommend suitable products to clients based on their skin type and concerns.
  • Makeup Application: Apply makeup to clients and models, ensuring a flawless and natural finish.
  • Repair and Masking: Repair and mask aesthetic defects, restoring clients' skin to its natural beauty.
  • Cashiering and Scheduling: Handle cashiering duties and schedule appointments for clients, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.
  • Product Demonstrations: Provide product demonstrations to clients, showcasing the benefits and features of our products.
  • Client Referrals: Refer clients with unusual skin conditions to physicians, ensuring their health and well-being.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the beauty industry or equivalent experience.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, interpersonal awareness, judgement, organized, reliability, and a team player.

We operate in English and require our team members to be fluent in the language. The work hours are 35 to 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
