Job Summary

MKA Canada, Inc. is seeking a skilled Estimator to join its team in the Halifax area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and prepare detailed estimates and construction audits for various projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of construction estimates from information provided by field engineers, architects, and other design consultants.
  • Pricing and analysis of construction methods and types.
  • Conduct site inspections and assignments as necessary.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of estimating experience.
  • Deep knowledge of construction measurement, quantification, and pricing.
  • Ability to understand construction plans and specifications.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of estimating software systems is an asset.
