The Opportunity

itec group, Inc. is partnering with a leading automotive manufacturer to find a skilled Maintenance Supervisor for their facility in Ingersoll, Ontario. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the activities of 10+ maintenance team members and ensuring the smooth operation of the facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily maintenance activities and ensure the effective use of CMMS software
  • Manage and direct the activities of employees and equipment within the department
  • Ensure parts supplies are available to maintain essential equipment
  • Train and manage daily activities for maintenance staff to support a 3-shift operation
  • Keep current records of problems and remedies and ensure accuracy
  • Supervise employees, including interviewing, hiring, training, and performance evaluations
Requirements
  • Electrical or Mechanical trades ticket required
  • 5+ years of experience in the automotive manufacturing field
  • Knowledge of presses, metal forming machinery, and hydraulics
  • Strong scheduling experience using CMMS software
  • Experience executing and auditing preventative maintenance
