Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Food Safety and Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products, monitoring manufacturing processes, and implementing food safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement food safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality and safety issues
  • Provide training and support to production staff on food safety best practices
  • Maintain accurate records of testing, inspection results, and corrective actions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum 1-2 years of experience in a food safety or quality assurance role in the food industry
  • A degree in Food Science and Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related discipline
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with GFSI schemes (BRC), GMP, and HACCP
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, RSP matching, and tuition reimbursement.
