Welcome to Home Hardware Stores, where we're more than just a hardware retailer - we're part of the community. As an Electrician on our Weekend Shift, you'll be an integral part of our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment, including wiring, AC power, motors, and electrical schematics.
  • Respond to equipment failures in a timely manner, troubleshoot issues, and identify resources needed to resolve them.
  • Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures, and identify issues as they occur.
  • Perform complex maintenance and equipment testing to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
Requirements:
  • Red Seal Electrician Certification.
  • Knowledge of automated equipment, preferably automated material handling systems, and Allen Bradley PLC control platforms.
  • Knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems, including diesel and electric fire pumps, and backup generators and automatic transfer switches.
  • Ability to identify potential problems and provide corrective/preventative solutions.
  • Must be willing to operate scissor lift, forklifts, chain hoist, slings, etc. (Training provided). Arch Flash and Work at Heights training would be an asset.
