Job Title: Housekeeping Manager - Toronto East

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Travelodge Toronto East. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping operations, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and co-ordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews
  • Select and purchase equipment and supplies
  • Co-ordinate inspection of assigned areas
  • Supervise staff
  • Co-ordinate contract services
  • Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met
  • Maintain financial records
  • Supervise maintenance and repair services
  • Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals
  • Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role

Working Conditions:

  • 32 to 40 hours per week
  • Permanent position
  • English language
