Job Description Summary

FactoryFix is seeking a skilled PM Mechanic to perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on facility machinery, including lubrication, diagnosis, and operation.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems using schematics and technical drawings.
  • Repair equipment, fixtures, and systems as required, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with other team members to complete repairs timely and safely.
  • Complete daily paperwork, document parts and material usage, and maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • May perform as a backup to production line workers, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Understand and follow plant safety rules, including safe lifting practices and machine operation, and use personal protective equipment as required.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is essential for this role.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • 2 years of experience in a position similar to this role.
  • 0 years of experience managing people or projects.
  • Basic knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Mechanical System (CMMS), including experience with HMI's, work orders, etc.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
  • Team members are required to provide their own tools, except in California locations where tools will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • 4 years of experience working in a position similar to this role.
  • 2 years of experience managing people or projects.
