Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapy Specialist to join our team at Manvir Purewal Physiotherapy. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assessing patients' physical abilities and developing effective physiotherapy programs to aid in their recovery.

About the Role:
  • This is a permanent position, offering 35-40 hours of work per week, with a competitive salary of approximately $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • You will work in a fast-paced medical clinic environment, requiring strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication, and attention to detail.
  • A valid criminal record check and up-to-date immunization records are mandatory.
Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities, identifying areas for improvement and creating personalized physiotherapy plans.
  2. Select and administer appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manipulations to promote patient recovery and well-being.
  3. Maintain accurate clinical and progress reports, ensuring seamless communication with other healthcare professionals.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement research projects in physiotherapy, enhancing treatment outcomes and promoting best practices.
  5. Teach and supervise patients in exercises and treatments, fostering a supportive and empowering environment.
  6. Administer evaluative tests and procedures as needed, utilizing your expertise to inform treatment decisions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
  • At least one year of experience in a medical setting, preferably in physiotherapy.
  • Punjabi language proficiency (Asset languages).
  • Willingness to relocate for this opportunity.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination, color perception, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Judgement and punctuality are essential qualities for success in this role.
