We are seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Design Technologist to join our team at APTECH Technical Service. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects. You will also assist in preparing design drawings and specifications, as well as designing moulds, tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures. Additionally, you will carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials. Your expertise in computer-aided design (CAD) and ability to estimate costs and materials will be valuable assets to our team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field. You should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
