Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner to join our team, working under the supervision of our GI attending physicians in a comprehensive GI office and hospital-based practice.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing gastroenterology consultations (inpatient)
  • Following up with gastroenterology patients (inpatient and outpatient)
  • Contacting patients with lab and test results as needed
  • Performing other related assigned duties
  • Providing on-call coverage as needed

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A current valid license to practice nursing in New York State
  • A Master of Science degree in Nursing with a specialization as a Nurse Practitioner in New York State
  • At least one year of experience in gastroenterology, with Spanish speaking skills preferred
