Brandt Tractor Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Field Foreman to join our Cambridge Construction & Forestry team.

This key role will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our service technicians, ensuring quality repair work, and providing expert advice to the Service Manager on technician skills and training needs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and organize the work performed by service technicians
  • Ensure quality control and maintain a clean work environment
  • Advise and mentor technicians to enhance their skills
  • Commit to customer service and service excellence
  • Communicate effectively with customers, the service team, and other branch personnel
  • Establish and maintain an on-call field schedule
  • Manage costs and ensure profitability of the department
  • Prepare work orders for warranty and other duties as required

Required Skills:

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills required
  • Ability to work after-hours and be available on-call
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Required Experience:

  • Previous mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment is an asset
  • Certified Journeyman in the Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade required
  • Experience in a service department setting required
  • Familiarity with John Deere and competitive products preferred
  • Forklift license preferred
