Responsibilities:
  • Assess children's development and create personalized learning plans.
  • Assist colleagues with housekeeping and cooking duties.
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers.
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support children's growth.
  • Maintain daycare equipment and ensure a safe environment.
  • Engage children in activities through storytelling, teaching songs, and crafts.
  • Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents.
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss children's progress and problems.
Requirements:
  • Child Development Assistant (ECE level 1) or equivalent certification.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Montessori Early Childhood Teacher Certificate.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Vulnerable sector check.
Work Environment:

Our daycare centre is a non-smoking, air-conditioned environment with a team of 3-4 people. We offer a public transportation option for our staff.
