Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated professional to join our engineering team as a Software Engineer for Embedded Systems.
This role will be focused on embedded development for networking products, including switches and routers.
In this position, you will be responsible for writing Python scripts to configure, monitor, and manage embedded systems.
You will develop and maintain Python scripts to read, set up, and manage configuration files for embedded systems.
Maintain system performance and implement automated solutions for error handling and recovery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate open-source Python code into our existing frameworks and extend its functionality.
Conduct testing and debugging of Python scripts to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Document code changes and maintain up-to-date technical documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Familiarity with Python programming and scripting for system management is essential.
Understanding of data communications, routing, and networking concepts is desirable.
Experience with version control systems and software development for network-related applications is preferred.
