About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior AI Engineer to develop advanced algorithms for person detection, tracking, and recognition in video conferencing environments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting research and developing algorithms for person detection, tracking, and recognition in video conferencing.
  • Understanding and optimizing backbone networks to meet specific business requirements.
  • Staying current with and following up on cutting-edge computer vision research papers, reproducing and implementing relevant advancements.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate algorithms into video conferencing solutions.
  • Optimizing AI models for performance, considering factors such as speed, accuracy, and resource usage.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • ~8+ years of work experience as an engineer.
  • Proficient in deep learning principles, specifically RNN (Recurrent Neural Networks) and CNN (Convolutional Neural Networks).
  • Experience with AI model training and deep learning architecture.
  • Solid software development skills, particularly in Python or C++.

What We Offer

We offer a hybrid work environment, supporting 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. Our office is located in Raleigh, and we are open to considering candidates who are local to the area or willing to relocate on their own.
