Harvesting Labourer

We are seeking a skilled Harvesting Labourer to join our team at SHERGILL VEGGIE FARM LTD.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for harvesting crops, including vegetables and fruits, and ensuring they are of high quality. The role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:- Harvest crops, including vegetables and fruits, to ensure high quality and quantity.
- Monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns to ensure optimal growing conditions.
- Examine products for quality and readiness for market.
- Load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry.
- Perform other related tasks as required.
- 1-7 months of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
- Attention to detail and ability to examine products for quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a physically demanding environment, with regular exposure to the outdoors. The role requires standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Language:The primary language of work is English.
Work Schedule:The work schedule is 40 hours per week.
