About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team at West Parry Sound Health Centre. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leadership to members of the healthcare team within the nursing units of the Health Centre.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario and will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. They will also have the ability to work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and community resources, as well as demonstrated expertise in physical assessment, health teaching, and clinical decision making.

What We Offer

In return for your dedication, you will be rewarded with an attractive hourly salary of $39.07-$56.00 per hour based on experience. Additionally, you will have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP), Employee & Family Assistance Program (EFAP), and Wellness Program & onsite gym.

Requirements
  • Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and community resources
  • Demonstrated expertise in physical assessment, health teaching, and clinical decision making
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various computer applications and software related to healthcare programs
  • Demonstrated satisfactory attendance levels, work performance, disciplinary history, and positive work references
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • A.C.L.S. Certification, P.A.L.S. Certification, NRP Certification
  • Previous experience in Nursing Skills pertinent to Acute Care Nursing (IV starts, Wound care, Ostomy care)
