CareCorp Senior Services Job Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at our beautiful Long-Term Care Facilities in Nelson, BC.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to residents, perform assessments, and implement care plans. They will also supervise care staff and administer medications as required.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet residents' needs
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Supervise and direct care staff to ensure high-quality care
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program
  • Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge and experience in Dementia care (an asset)
