Job Title: Senior Partnership Manager

Job Overview

The Senior Partnership Manager reports directly to the Director of Partnership Management OTC-CPG and is instrumental in managing strategic collaborations and alliances that contribute value to McKesson. By working closely with essential stakeholders, the Senior Partnership Manager cultivates value-driven relationships, negotiates contracts, and ensures alignment with Category Management objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage and negotiate with national brand suppliers to optimize financial outcomes.
  • Foster value-oriented relationships with partner organizations and key decision-makers.
  • Ensure alignment with Category Management and the strategic goals of McKesson Canada retail operations.
  • Negotiate and oversee wholesale and retail contracts with suppliers based in Canada.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide value-added services.
  • Enhance supplier value generation based on market positioning and value propositions.
  • Share effective practices with MGPS colleagues across different markets.
  • Identify value-enhancing opportunities with key customers and the supplier network.
  • Manage the renewal and renegotiation of contracts, ensuring financial adherence.
  • Monitor financial performance and pinpoint discrepancies.

General Duties

  • Stay updated on market trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Encourage collaboration and share effective practices with the Strategic Procurement Team.
  • Represent corporate values as an ambassador for McKesson.

Position Requirements

Experience:

  • At least 7 years in strategic negotiations, vendor management, and category management within the CPG-OTC sectors.
  • Experience in wholesale distribution and retail category management is advantageous.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

  • Proficient negotiation and communication skills with the ability to foster consensus.
  • Proven leadership and collaboration abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

  • Proficient in English for daily interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with MS Office applications and procurement methodologies.
  • Understanding of inventory management and data analysis tools.
