About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing and Heating Technician to join our team at ARGY Plumbing & Heating Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plumbing and heating systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Construction Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Instruct Apprentices: Provide guidance and instruction to apprentices in the field, ensuring they develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the trade.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance Work: Conduct routine maintenance tasks on plumbing and heating systems, including inspections, repairs, and replacements.
  • Remove Rubble and Debris: Safely remove rubble and debris from construction sites, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
  • Assist Tradespersons and Workers: Provide support and assistance to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed, ensuring the successful completion of projects.
  • Make Adjustments and Repairs: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Repair Plumbing Fixtures and Systems: Repair domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems, ensuring they are functioning properly and efficiently.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks, such as loading and unloading materials, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
Weight Handling
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs): Lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 23 kg (50 lbs), with proper lifting techniques and safety precautions.
