Island Health is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum coverage at the Saanich Peninsula Hospital's department of Emergency Medicine.
**About the Role**
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide emergency medical care to patients in a timely and efficient manner
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
**Requirements**
- Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC
- Hold CCFP-EM or FRCPC Emergency Medicine certification
- Experience working in a community hospital emergency department
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
