Job Title: Truck Drivers Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Drivers Supervisor to join our team at DM Transport. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our truck drivers and ensuring the smooth delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of our truck drivers, ensuring they are aware of their schedules, routes, and delivery deadlines.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare production and other reports to track the performance of our truck drivers and identify areas for improvement.
  • Resolve Work Problems: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Train and Develop: Train or arrange for training to ensure our truck drivers have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and Operate: Monitor and operate signal and track switch control panel to ensure safe and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Coordinate and Schedule: Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure timely delivery of goods to our customers.
  • Recommend Personnel Actions: Recommend personnel actions, such as promotions or disciplinary actions, to ensure the effective management of our truck drivers.
  • Requisition and Order: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure our truck drivers have the necessary resources to perform their duties.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, organized, and a team player.
