We are seeking a highly skilled Millwright to join our team at MWB Contracting Inc. in Canada.

About the Job

This permanent position offers an estimated salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field and possess excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will have experience with machinery installation, maintenance, and repair, as well as proficiency in welding techniques, including flux core arc welding (FCAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), and shielded metal arc welding (SMAW).

A valid driver's license and own transportation are required for this position.

Job Responsibilities
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in machinery
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts
  • Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
  • Install machinery and equipment
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment

The selected candidate will be required to work under pressure, handle heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.
