About Apex Systems

We are a global IT services provider with a staffing practice that has an opening for an Email Developer. Our ideal candidate will have a background in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, coding, creating email templates, and working with Campaign managers.

Our client is a Big 5 bank seeking an Email Developer to work on a hybrid basis (2 days downtown Toronto) for a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.

Job Responsibilities

As an Email Developer at Apex Systems, you will be responsible for building and developing email marketing templates and content via marketing automation platforms. You will review campaign requirements, define solutions required to support CRM programs, and utilize HTML/CSS and email marketing best practices to create and code interactive experiences for email.

You will apply best practices in email development, email compliance regulations, and accessibility. Additionally, you will set up, test, and launch complex email campaigns with dynamic content, troubleshoot HTML, CSS, and other performance issues, and provide necessary guidance to designers.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have fluency in HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Ampscript. Hands-on experience using Campaign Marketing Automation platforms building email templates and content is essential. You should also have hands-on experience with one or more of the following platforms: Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Adobe Campaign, Acoustic Campaign (IBM/Silverpop), or Oracle Eloqua.

Certification in SFMC, Braze, Adobe Campaign, or similar is desired. Familiarity with dynamic content rules and working in an Agile environment using tools like JIRA is a plus.

Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
