About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Badminton Coach to join our team at Centre Avenue Badminton Inc. As a key member of our coaching staff, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing training and practice sessions for our athletes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-level coaching sessions to athletes of all ages and skill levels.
  • Motivate and prepare athletes for competitive events and games.
  • Participate in coaching clinic instruction and provide guidance to junior coaches.
  • Analyze and evaluate athletes' performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Observe and evaluate prospective athletes' skills and performance.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in coaching or a related field.
  • International level badminton experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Initiative and ability to take on new challenges.
  • Interpersonal awareness and ability to build strong relationships with athletes, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Judgement and decision-making skills.
  • Reliability and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Values and ethics that align with our organization's mission and values.
Working Conditions
  • 30 to 35 hours per week.
  • Permanent full-time position.
  • English language required.
