Maintenance Worker Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team at Comfort Inn. As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our building and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Contact tradespersons for major repairs
  • Advertise vacancy
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances
  • Perform safety and security checks
  • Show apartments and offices to prospective tenants
  • Supervise other workers
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
  • Work with minimal supervision

Education and Experience: We require a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
