Job Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Immunology. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our vibrant research environment and teach undergraduate and graduate students in the field of immunology.

Research Focus

We are looking for a candidate with a strong research background in immunology, with expertise in areas such as immune cell signalling, immune cell interactions, immune response regulation, immune responses to pathogens, immunotherapy, or other relevant methods in immunology. The successful candidate will establish an innovative and sustainable research program that will integrate with and expand our department's research strengths and offer new avenues for collaboration.

Teaching Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in immunology, as well as mentor students from a wide range of disciplines, cultures, and academic backgrounds. We value diversity and wellness among our members as key ingredients in our collective success.

Qualifications

Qualifications include a Ph.D., a preferred minimum of three years of relevant postdoctoral experience, a proven record of research excellence evident in high-quality publications, and demonstrated potential to establish a competitive independent research program and secure external research funding.
