Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at IGA Famille Jodoin. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring the efficient preparation and serving of food to our customers.
Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and serving of food, including cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
- Operate dishwashers and other kitchen equipment as needed.
- Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
