Job Title: Quick Lube Technician

At AutoCanada, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quick Lube Technician to join our team at Grande Prairie Hyundai. As a Quick Lube Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service department by performing routine maintenance tasks on our customers' vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform oil and filter changes, as well as other routine maintenance tasks, to ensure our customers' vehicles are running efficiently and effectively.
  • Sell lubrication, safety inspection, and related services to our customers, providing them with the best possible solutions for their vehicle needs.
  • Conduct complete multi-point inspections on vehicles, checking and marking all required items on the checklist, and presenting the findings to the Service Advisor.
  • Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires, as well as add air as needed, to ensure our customers' vehicles are safe and running properly.
  • Support shop cleanliness and appearance, and strive to provide a high level of customer service to our clients.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Previous lube tech experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Ability to meet physical demands, including heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and using power tools and hand-held equipment.
  • A valid Ontario driver's license and a safe driving history.
