Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a skilled Road Technician (Heavy Duty) to join our team. As a Road Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and repairs on our fleet of equipment, ensuring they are in top working condition to meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty equipment, including aerial work platforms, general construction tools, and specialty lines equipment.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and adapting to changing situations.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and support staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support to our customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer training and industry developments to maintain expertise and provide high-quality service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a related field, such as diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and work in a variety of environments, including indoors and outdoors.
