We're seeking an experienced Digital Solutions Architect to lead our CASH and Credit Decisioning development team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for driving technical strategy, ensuring high-quality solutions that support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:
    • Oversee one or more Applications Development teams, focusing on achieving established goals.
    • Direct, motivate, and develop your team to maximize their contributions and professional growth.
    • Handle personnel responsibilities such as performance evaluations, hiring, and disciplinary actions.
  • Technical Oversight:
    • Apply extensive knowledge across multiple Applications Development areas to provide technical oversight for systems and applications.
    • Stay informed of industry best practices, trends, and new technologies to identify opportunities for improving standards, coding practices, and delivery.
  • Solution Evaluation:
    • Evaluate proposed technical solutions for projects.
    • Contribute to the formulation of strategies for applications development and other functional areas.
    • Suggest appropriate improvements for solutions.
  • Judgment and Impact:
    • Exercise evaluative judgment in complex situations.
    • Monitor project delivery, participate in budget management, and address staff management issues.
    • Assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the company's reputation and adhering to policies and ethical standards.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Foster relationships between your organization and vendors/partners.
    • Negotiate contracts, create standards for vendors, and identify the best available vendors.
    • Ensure adherence to essential procedures and contribute to defining standards when negotiating with external parties.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Experience as Application Development Manager
  • 2+ years demonstrated leadership Experience and proven project Management Skills
  • Technical Expertise – Proficient in Oracle PL/SQL, Java/shell scripting, REST/SOAP APIs. Familiar with Microsoft Windows, Linux, Azure Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle DB, SFTP, and GitHub.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to take the initiative and delegate accordingly.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Solid understanding of software engineering principles, and best practices.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to present information clearly to groups and individuals at all levels.

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience. This role requires full-time commitment with no shift rotation, and travel requirements are minimal.
