Job Title: Network Support Technician

CLOUD TECH is seeking a highly skilled Network Support Technician to join our team. As a Network Support Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software
  • Provide problem-solving services to network users and perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations, and conduct tests and perform security and quality controls
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure seamless network operations and provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education in a related field
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in network support and administration
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of networking software, security, and operating systems
  • Experience with data backups and disaster recovery operations
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service
