Job Summary:

The English On Ground Instructor is responsible for providing quality instruction to students in the General Education curriculum. This includes creating a positive and effective learning environment, imparting the requirements of the relevant workplace setting, and maintaining an organized and disciplined classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the program and course objectives.
  • Provide individualized instruction and support to students as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive learning experience.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in English or related field required.
  • Minimum of 15 semester credit hours/23 quarter credit hours in related subject area that supports the General Education curriculum content.
  • Two years of experience in the field of instruction for GE classes preferred.

Employment Status: Adjunct, hourly, non-exempt.
