Job Overview

The Charles Schwab Corporation is seeking a skilled Business Finance Specialist to join our Corporate FP&A team. As a key member of this team, you will play a crucial role in providing senior management with consolidated financial forecasts and insights that drive informed business decisions.

In this role, you will work closely with business partners and team members across Finance to forecast client asset balances, revenues, and earnings. You will also lead the interest rate planning process for the firm's monthly forecasts and annual Financial Plan. Additionally, you will synthesize and communicate the consolidated financial picture and outlook through various channels, including Forecast Review meetings and Board materials.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with business partners and team members to forecast client asset balances, revenues, and earnings.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in finance, preferably in financial planning and analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial software tools.
- Knowledge of finance and accounting principles, including financial statement analysis and corporate finance theory.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Experience with IBM TM1 or Planning Analytics is a plus but not required.
