About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at Comfort Inn & Suites. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building's systems and maintaining a safe and clean environment for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as emptying trash cans, making adjustments to heating and cooling systems, and performing minor repairs to plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Conduct safety and security checks to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
  • Work with minimal supervision to ensure the efficient completion of tasks.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience in a maintenance or repair role is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff and guests.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced hotel environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service. The work schedule will be 35 hours per week.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
