About Us:

The Retirement Homes Regulatory Authority (RHRA) is responsible for regulating and supervising all long-term care homes and retirement homes in Ontario. Our mission is to protect the rights and interests of residents living in these types of facilities.

This position is part of our Licensing team, which ensures that all retirement homes comply with provincial regulations and laws.

You will work closely with various stakeholders, including internal teams, government agencies, and external partners to achieve our organizational goals.

  • About the Role:
  • This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and best practices in long-term care and retirement home sectors.
  • You will be accountable for the strategic and operational leadership of the Licensing team, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • As a senior manager, you will oversee the development and implementation of policies, programs, and procedures to support the RHRA's mandate.
  • You will lead cross-functional teams to address complex issues, analyze data, and make informed decisions that drive business outcomes.
  • Additionally, you will engage with external stakeholders to build partnerships and advance our mission.
