We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Specialist to join our team at Logistik Unicorp Inc. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing load carriage systems and personal protection equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with our Director of Business Development to understand technical requirements and develop solutions.
- Design and develop technical sketches and documents necessary for production.
- Create, revise, or modify digital development patterns to ensure high-quality products.
- Assemble prototypes and oversee the transition to large-scale production.
- Establish and maintain relationships with international and local suppliers to ensure timely delivery of technical documents and fit and construction adjustment reports.
- Manage project timelines and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Upload and synchronize all relevant technical data in our corporate database.
- Industrial Design diploma or equivalent education.
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent understanding of load carriage systems and personal protection equipment design and assembly.
- Experience assembling products with various types of industrial sewing machines.
- Basic MS Office skills and intermediate knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and InDesign software.
- Intermediate knowledge of a pattern design software application such as PAD System, Gerber Accumark, or other.
- Working knowledge of a 3D CAD software application such as Rhino, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other is an asset.
- Bilingual (English and French) is a must; working knowledge of Vietnamese is an asset.
- Versatility and high adaptability in the face of changing priorities.
- Schedule planning and management skills.
- Conciseness, methodical, and organizational skills.
- Autonomy, professionalism, and team spirit.
