Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and address the needs of clients, ensuring they receive the necessary support and services.
  • Develop and implement programs to promote the well-being and development of clients, including behavior management and crisis intervention.
  • Collaborate with other social services agencies and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to clients living in group homes and half-way houses.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment for clients, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with children and youth, preferably in a group home or similar setting.
  • First Aid Certificate and clearance from the Child Abuse Registry, Child Welfare Check, and Criminal Record Check.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and external agencies.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
