Redevelopment and Facilities Lead

This exciting opportunity is for a skilled and experienced professional to join our Redevelopment Team at Royal Columbian Hospital. As a Project Leader, you will play a key role in overseeing and supporting the planning, design, and implementation of assigned smaller facilities projects and/or projects with a lower degree of complexity. Your responsibilities will include project planning, project management, communications, and contract management, as well as providing input to project business plans and project charters as requested.
You will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders to convey information and respond to queries regarding project status, design, and construction matters. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively manage relationships and facilitate consensus among stakeholders. You will also be responsible for participating in meetings throughout the project lifecycle and seeking input from stakeholders during all stages of the project.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Architectural and Building Technology or a related field
- 5-7 years' experience in managing and leading facilities projects in a complex institutional environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
