We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our team at Scotia ServiceNow.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting standards, taxonomy, and naming conventions for Scotia ServiceNow foundational data. They will also implement platform foundational data in accordance with the CSDM framework and create data access standards and procedures across all instances.

In this role, you will manage data-related requests, ensuring completeness and correctness of data and data relationships. You will also design, document, and manage IT business processes associated with Platform foundational data source, creation, management, and retirement.

Additionally, you will coordinate and assist with the execution of data governance and control requests related to enterprise governance and Audit. You will work closely with various owners of Platform foundational data areas to ensure data integrity and relationship management.

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of CSDM 3.0 and/or 4.0, as well as hands-on experience with ServiceNow. They will also possess experience in data governance, ServiceNow architecture experience, and a good understanding of data lineage concepts and data governance tools.

Responsibilities
  • Set standards, taxonomy, and naming conventions for Scotia ServiceNow foundational data
  • Implement platform foundational data in accordance with the CSDM framework
  • Create data access standards and procedures across all instances

Requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of CSDM 3.0 and/or 4.0
