We are seeking a skilled Pattern Maker to join our team at Viberg Boot Mfg Ltd. As a key member of our production department, you will play a vital role in creating high-quality patterns for our footwear products.

About the Job

This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience. You will be working 35-40 hours per week and will be required to have excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Job Description

Your primary responsibilities as a Pattern Maker will include:

  • Creating and modifying patterns for footwear products using computer-aided design (CAD) software and drafting instruments.
  • Estimating material requirements and ensuring accurate cuts.
  • Laying out patterns on fabric and cutting sample patterns.
  • Examining sketches, samples, and specifications to determine pattern parts and material requirements.
  • Marking size, identification, style, and sewing instructions on sample patterns.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • 5+ years of experience in pattern making or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, specifically AutoCAD and Gerber AccuMark.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Able to distinguish between colors and work accurately under pressure.
