About the Role:

Societe Generale is seeking a skilled Credit Analyst to join our team in Global Banking and Advisory (GLBA). In this role, you will work under the supervision of a Director - Senior Credit Analyst and be part of a team responsible for managing a large portfolio of US corporate clients and their subsidiaries in diverse industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare comprehensive credit analyses and reviews of corporate counterparties to assess their credit quality, recommending appropriate credit limits, terms, and conditions.
  • Prepare financial projections and determine debt repayment capability, ensuring compliance with SGUS Credit Policies.
  • Propose and update Obligor Risk Ratings.
  • Monitor compliance with covenants.
  • Review all relevant legal documentation and propose changes as necessary to comply with SGUS policies.
  • Liaise with other CPM teams in the US, Europe, and Asia, business lines, Bankers, legal & compliance, operations, and Risk department.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience as a credit analyst in a corporate and investment banking entity or related field.
  • Strong financial analytical skills and ability to assess credit terms and conditions.
  • Strong understanding of commercial and investment banking products, as well as accounting, legal, and regulatory issues governing relevant sectors.
  • Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement.
