About the Job

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistant to join our team at Aftab Rizvi. As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide personalized support and care to our clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities that promote mental and physical stimulation
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Shop for groceries and household supplies
  • Provide personal care and support with daily routines
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Flexibility, initiative, and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliability, patience, and honesty
Work Environment

Our clients live in non-smoking environments, and we offer optional accommodation at no charge on a live-in basis. This is not a condition of employment.

Language

The primary language spoken in the workplace is English.

Work Hours

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 44 hours per week.
