Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality primary health care services to patients, ensuring a continuum of care and coordination with other healthcare providers.
- Manage workload and practice effectively, meeting the needs of the community.
- Provide care and coordination of community-based care, secondary, and tertiary level healthcare services.
- Build capacity within the first two years, contributing to the growth and development of the practice.
- Operate within the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of Nova Scotia Health Authority.
- Work towards same-day or next-day access for the practice population.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet the community's health needs.
- Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities.
- Utilize an electronic medical record (EMR) and record all relevant patient details.
- Full-time position.
- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS).
- Eligibility for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).
- Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
