We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Mishi Cleaning Services Inc. This is an entry-level position that offers the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in housekeeping and hospitality.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a high level of cleanliness and organization in our facilities, including floors, furniture, and fixtures. The role involves performing various tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing sheets, distributing clean towels and toiletries, and stocking linen closets.

The Housekeeping Assistant will also be responsible for cleaning and disinfecting kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, elevators, and other areas as needed. Additionally, the candidate will handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and be willing to learn and take direction. We offer a competitive salary of $35,000 per year, based on 40 hours of work per week, which reflects the local market conditions.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have no degree, certificate, or diploma. You will receive on-the-job training to help you develop the necessary skills and knowledge. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
