Job Title: Truck Driver - Route Optimization Specialist
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Route Optimization Specialist to join our team at DARK Enterprise. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
- Load and unload goods
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
- Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements:
- AZ class license
- Valid passport
- Driver's validity license check
- Driving record check (abstract)
- Drug test
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to handle heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions
- Ability to sit for extended periods
Working Conditions:
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
