Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Goodall Transport Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Pay and receive payments for goods
  • Perform brake adjustments
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Requirements
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Flexibility
  • Organized
  • Reliability
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 to 50 hours per week
