About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Trombone Educator to join our team at Greater Toronto Music School. As a Trombone Educator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality music education to students of all ages and skill levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of individual students.
  • Provide one-on-one instruction and guidance to students, helping them to improve their trombone skills and musical knowledge.
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and school administration to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and techniques in music education.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary music education or equivalent credentials through outstanding achievements in the field (performance, recordings, teaching).
  • Experience teaching music to students of all ages and skill levels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to accommodate a variety of scheduling needs.
